Angel Bird

Sasha was my bird for ten years. I got her at 16 so she was a part of my life as I went from child to adult, high schooler to working stiff. She loved people and being with us. Once she flew all the way down the hall to where mw and my parents were in the end of the house. Whenever my brother would come home to visit she would speak to him when he walk through the door with a short little "hello" tweet. She also loved music and would sing soflty along to music or tv. She died March 2, 2006 after a battle with avian gout and is sorely, sorely missed. I am creating this blog so I can post her pictures and post some of my thoughts and feelings on her life. I also want to find other bird lovers and maybe try to find a new little budgie for my life. I loved the little fluffy blue bird more than words can every truly express and this blog will only sell short but I hope you can see in these pictures how beautiful she was and how much a bird can be a part of the family. These pictures were taken when she was sick so the feathers around her beak are pink from the medications we were giving her before she died.
